April 2026
Outstanding job at In10sity Rochester!
We couldn’t be more proud of everyone’s hard work and dedication. Placing 2nd overall for highest scoring studio in the entire competition—and missing 1st place by just one point—is an incredible achievement!

Outstanding Bills
All outstanding balances are due before leaving on spring vacations.
Accounts for competition dancers were expected to be current at the time of registration. If your account still has a balance, please make arrangements to bring it up to date promptly.
While we prefer to avoid it, please be advised that outstanding balances may result in a dancer being held from class until the account is brought current.
Costume Fittings
Costume fittings will be held for the following classes:
Ms. Dem’s and Ms. Kaleigh’s Saturday 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM class will have their fitting on Wednesday, April 1st at 5:00 PM.
Ms. Dem’s and Ms. Kaleigh’s Saturday 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM class will have their fitting on Wednesday, April 1st at 5:30 PM.
Studio Schedule
The studio will be closed for Spring Break from Friday, April 3rd through Friday, April 10th. We will reopen on Saturday, April 11th (a makeup class for Groove).
Competition classes will still hold rehearsals during this week. Please check with your teacher for your dancer’s schedule.
The studio will also be closed for the Groove Regional Competition from Friday, April 24th through Monday, April 27th. We will reopen on Tuesday, April 28th.
Groove Competition
We are excited for the upcoming Groove Regionals! Please watch for updates and rehearsal schedules.
A mandatory rehearsal for all competition dancers will take place on Saturday, April 18th and Sunday, April 19th.
A parent meeting will be held on Sunday, April 19th.
Times for both will be announced soon.
Spring Concert Packet
Spring Concert Packets will be distributed in April. You must pick up your packet, complete it, and return it in order to receive your show tickets!
March 2026
Studio Schedule
Please note a change to the class schedule for Friday, March 13th.
The only class that will be held on Friday is Ms. Debbie’s Mini Acro from 5:30–6:30 PM.
All other Friday classes will be canceled due to competition dancers traveling to Rochester for the weekend.
The studio will be closed on Saturday, March 14th. A make-up class was already held during winter break.
COMPETITION
Join us this weekend at the In10sity Dance Competition at The Theatre at Innovation Square (131 Chestnut Street, Rochester, NY 14604) to support our dancers!
Your email includes the call times for each routine that will be competing. A call time means your dancer must be in the dressing room with hair and makeup completed and ready to warm up. Competitions can sometimes run ahead of schedule, which is why dancers are given early call times.
Important:
If your dancer is competing this weekend, you must complete the required form. Dancers will not be permitted to go on stage if this form is not submitted.
All attendees at an In10sity event this season are required to complete the 2026 In10sity Event Waiver. Please make sure all waivers are submitted by Thursday.

The event is free and open to the public, so feel free to invite friends and family to come cheer on our dancers!
For the safety of our dancers, we kindly ask that you do not post the Dance Project schedule online. If you have any questions, please ask at the front desk.
Competition Helpful Hints
Proper attire must be worn all weekend.
Hair should be pulled back at all times, even when not performing.
Arrive early and double-check call times to ensure proper arrival.
Bring plenty of water and a light, healthy snack or lunch if needed.
Make sure you have all costume pieces ready ahead of time. If something is missing, contact your teacher as soon as possible.
Check parking options in advance.
We can’t wait to see our dancers take the stage once again!

February 2026
Dance Project will be CLOSED from Monday, February 16th through Sunday, February 22nd.
We will reopen on Monday, February 23rd.
Please note that competition classes will still be held for select classes during this time. Be sure to check with your dancer’s teacher for specific class dates and times.
Additionally, Ms. Darlene will be holding production and specialty rehearsals throughout the week. Please check in with her directly for rehearsal days and times.

Friendly reminder that tuition must be current for your dancer to be registered. This includes costume and specialty fees. With registration deadlines approaching, accounts that are not up to date may prevent your dancer from being registered or their class. Please settle all payments at the desk ASAP!
JANUARY 2026
Happy New Year!
We had an outstanding December—from our holiday parties and gift exchange to Roswell’s Tree Lighting of Hope. We hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful and healthy holiday season. We have an exciting year planned and cannot wait to share everything 2026 has in store with you!
Accounts & Payments
Accounts that are past due will incur a $20 late fee per month.
In order for your dancer to continue lessons, all accounts must be brought up to date as soon as possible.
Please help us avoid having to hold a dancer out of class by taking care of balances promptly.

Costume Balances:
All costume balances must be paid in order for costumes to be ordered. With competitions approaching, unpaid balances may result in costumes not arriving on time.

We are thrilled to announce that our 34th Annual Spring Concert will be held at the Flickinger Performing Arts Center, located on the Nichols School campus in North Buffalo.
Performance: Saturday, June 13th

Competition News
Competition fees will be available at the end of January.
Each family will receive a bill—please return payment by the due date listed.
Accepted payment methods: Cash, Check, or Credit Card
A 3% processing fee applies to all credit card payments.

All specialty routine payments are past due.

4:30–6:30 PM
Arrival & Rehearsal
All dancers arrive at 3:15 PM for a blocking rehearsal.
Hair and makeup done and costumes on upon arrival.
Meet at the entrance to Roswell Park.
In previous years, we were able to wait in the Scott Bieler Wing (to the right of the lobby).
Bring only what you need; leave all valuables at home.
All phones will be collected before performances.
Bring extra safety pins and bobby pins.

Holiday Party – Saturday, December 20th $10 Gift Exchange
The following classes will participate:
Ms. Pearl’s Tap – Saturday 10–11 AM
Ms. Dem’s Combo 2 – Saturday 9–10:30 AM
Ms. Dem’s Combo 4 – Saturday 10:30 AM–12 PM
Each dancer should bring a small gift valued at $10 to exchange during their class time.
Competition Dancers’ Holiday Party
Saturday, December 20th
4–6 PM
Each dancer brings a $20 Secret Santa gift (names already drawn).
If you cannot attend, please let Ms. Darlene know so your gift can be collected ahead of time.
Holiday Break
The studio will be closed Monday, December 22nd – Saturday, January 4th.
We will reopen Monday, January 5, 2026.
Some competition classes may still meet; teachers will notify dancers.
Specials will be held during the break.
If you are traveling, please let Ms. Darlene know.
Fees Past Due
All specialty fees and costume deposits are past due.
Please stop at the desk or call the studio to take care of your balance ASAP.
Costumes cannot be ordered until deposits are paid, and our competition season has started early—orders must be placed immediately.
Jacket Pick-Up
Warm-up jackets will be ready for pick-up by the end of this week.

Wishing everyone a safe and healthy Thanksgiving, we can not wait to celebrate the holiday season.
Studio Closings
Thanksgiving Break: The studio will be closed from Monday, November 24th through Saturday, November 29th.
We will reopen Monday, December 1st.
If you are in a specialty group and not traveling for the holiday, Ms. Darlene will be scheduling rehearsal and choreography time. Please let her know ASAP if you will be out of town.

Warm up jacket orders are DUE!!!!
Jackets can be ordered in youth and adult sizes. Jackets will be $87 per jacket. Jacket will have the dancers name on the front, and the new 2025 Dance Project logo on the back. All competition dancers must have a new jacket for nationals 2026!
Orders will be accepted through November 6th, 2025 to ensure delivery in time for the holidays.

Class Attendance
If your child cannot attend class, please call the studio with their name, class, and reason for absence.
Please do not email, as emails are sometimes seen after class times.
If your dancer is not contagious, we encourage them to come, sit, and observe class—it’s a valuable learning experience!

October Tuition and Rehearsal fee Past Due

Wow, what a September! Welcome back!
All families can stay up to date, right here! If your dancer is apart of our competition team, please check on the ‘Competition’ page to read all important competition updates, and view the production rehearsals.
Rehearsal Fee
In the month of October rehearsal fee is due. Please include in your October payment.
Reminder all payments are due the first week of each month!
Costume Fee
Costume fee is due in the November! Start paying off your costume bill now, to get ahead of the holiday season! If your dancer has an additional charge for costumes, that balance will be due in the month of January!
Parent Club
Hello DCDP parents! This year the DCDP competition team will be traveling to Atlantic City to compete at Nationals. In order to help offset some of the cost, the Parent Club will be fundraising throughout the year. Our first fundraising event will take place on Thursday, October 23rd from 10-5 at the newest location of Spruce on Main, located at 3107 Delaware Ave in Kenmore. During this event, 20% from every purchase made will be donated to our dancers when you show this flyer. We hope that you get a chance to shop on October 23rd, and support not only our dancers, but a local business as well.

Dance Project Calendar
The studio will be closed on Monday, October 13th, in observation of Columbus Day/Indigenous People Day, and Friday October 31st for Halloween!
In November, the studio will be closed on Tuesday November 11th, for Veterans Day.
Thanksgiving Break will be from Monday November 24th-through Saturday November 29th. The studio will reopen on Monday December 1st.
